A ten-year battle with cancer robbed Darian of everything. Friends, the ability to adventure and eventually his life. With his dying breath, he wished he’d just had a stronger body. Little did he know that his final request would be granted. Darian is reborn and remade.

Waking up in a haunted forest in a new and dangerous world, unlike anything he’s experienced, he quickly finds himself in the middle of a war between the living and the dead. Undead hordes are not the only threat facing Darian. Magic, monsters, and gods all stand in his way. But when his new body begins to thirst, he soon realizes his wish wasn't granted without a price.
