The Impossible Bounty - Out Now!

Hello!

If you're in America, you may have noticed today is November 3rd! It's officially voting day! Please check in with your local electoral authority to find your polling station or go here.

And now…

Gentle Readers,

Have you ever considered bounty hunting work? This writer has, and it chills me to the core to imagine the rough and tough people who partake in such work. Truly, in this day and age (not to mention this economy) one must hustle, no matter how impossible the bounty one seeks is.

Perhaps if one found the exact right person, this bounty wouldn’t be such an issue… but if you truly needed the money? It would only make sense to put your efforts into something else more lucrative. Perhaps, dragon taming?

Well, if you insist on following your dreams and not turning in that extremely valuable bounty, I hope that you consider how it may affect your future prospects…

Dante is going to be a very rich man. The only thing standing in his way is a single task: deliver the kidnapped crown princess across the continent to the drop-off location.

In a world populated by humans, fae, and shifters, Dante has reached his breaking point as a crime lord’s long-suffering underling. Seeing an opportunity to earn his freedom, he accepts the most treacherous assignment of his life: kidnapping the crown princess to deliver her to a drop-off location across the continent.

However, when Prim finds herself ensnared by the assassin, she forms a plan and plays the obedient captive as they encounter friends, foes, dragons, and some very spicy peppers. As their journey progresses, she discovers she’s not the only one harboring secrets and hidden motivations…

I hope you're excited for Kate Spell’s debut novel, The Impossible Bounty, because it’s out now! You can order your copy today, and for those of you that like to listen to your books, there’s also an audiobook narrated by the amazing Charlie Keegan and Erebus Esprit!

“If you love the Throne of Glass series, this one might be right up your alley! It gave me similar vibes in the best way, and I was hooked!”

“One of my favorite parts was the character development of Prim and Dante. I loved watching their personalities, motivations, and relationship unfold as they navigated everything thrown their way. I especially loved the mix of fantasy, adventure, mystery, and romance. It kept me guessing while making me want to know more about the world and the characters.”

“The building romance and emotional impact are layered and poignant, successfully driving the book and keeping you turning the page. There’s a nice steady pace throughout, with focus on the romantic tension rather than too many high stakes scenarios, making for a cozier read.”

“A week later and I can’t stop thinking about this book!!!”

We hope you check out The Impossible Bounty, and if you do, make sure to let us know what you think!

Yours,

JP Weaver and the Riverfolk team
